(GLO)- Bien Ho Lake (known as Ia Nueng by Jrai ethnic minority) located in Bien Ho commune to the North of Gia Lai province, is about 7 km from Pleiku city center. It was an inactive crater millions of years ago. It has an oval shape with an area of about 240 hectares, the lake has many legends attracting human heart.
The multi-angled lake emerges as a jade in the vast red soil of Central Highlands, its infrastructure is currently being invested to serve tourists. This is the unique scenic spot in Gia Lai recognized national a historical relic by the Ministry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism)-under the decision number: 1288/VN/QD on 16.11.1988.
